SICK strengthens business in Australia - Specialist in gas analysis in mining taken over
Waldkirch / Ivanhoe (Australia), 23 February 2007. SICK AG’s Australian subsidiary has taken over the assets and parts of the business operations of Gas Analysis Systems Australia Pty. Ltd., Chipping Norton, New South Wales with effect from 1 February 2007.
Gas Analysis Systems specialises in gas analysers, e.g. in Australian mining, as well as systems engineering for process monitoring and has long collaborated with SICK Pty Ltd, Ivanhoe, Victoria. The transaction also involves SICK Pty. Ltd. taking on two employees from Gas Analysis Systems.
Peter Horman, General Manager of SICK Pty Ltd, commented on the agreement as follows:
“The business of Gas Analysis Systems strengthens SICK Australia’s market position for gas analysers of the SICK MAIHAK brand.
