Using Safexpert you will systematically and efficiently attain CE marking compliant with the standards. When standards or directives change, SICK updates the software to suit the new requirements and makes available an update. You can update program and projects conveniently and in accordance with the directives.
You will be guided through the conformity process in seven steps. The program will help you with the analysis of the hazards as well as with the risk assessment. The information on the conformity process as per the Machinery Directive is prepared in a structured manner. Directives and standards packages saved in the software ensure you always have the necessary information at hand.
The documentation is simplified. The software automatically transfers all your entries to the relevant reports. Saved reports and checklists will help you to realise the documentation as per the requirements of the Machinery Directive.
The most important new features of Safexpert 6.0

The successor to EN 1050 is EN ISO 14121-1. The new standard with the hazards lists is harmonised and must be applied for the conformity process as per the Machinery Directive. The changes have been integrated into Safexpert 6.0 and the new hazards list is included. Existing projects can be conveniently converted to the new requirements.
