The integrated linear CCD array with 2048 elements/pixels offers a much larger reading field. The integrated software allows triggering onto the coded object, NOT onto the code on the object. The ICR850 can be used with the same trigger source as previously used for linear bar code readers. The integrated illumination is a laser line which offers high intensity illumination suitable for all code reading requirements.

The 2048 CCD elements allow the reading of codes with cell sizes down to 0.10 mm (3 mil). Even tiny codes can be identified, independent of their tilt or position on the coded object. The nominal reading distance is 100 mm (in).
