The new WLL170T-2 and WLL190T-2 are next generation high-performance fiber-optic amplifiers. With more flexibility and programming options than the previous versions of these sensors, these new amplifiers feature more teach-in options, higher enclosure ratings and longer sensing ranges. In contrast to SICK’s other sensors, amplifiers require fiber-optic cables to properly function. The WLL170T-2 and WLL190T-2 also enable higher production throughput due to the sensors’ faster response times (and higher switching frequencies).
The new WLL190T-2 series offers a dual digital display (2x4 digit readouts) and can be used in stand-alone mode or as part of a bus with up to16 sensors connected together. The new WLL170T-2 series offers several teach-in options with either on-amplifier adjustment or via an external teach wire. In addition, these fiber-optic amplifiers are ideal for a variety of part detection applications in the electronics, pharmaceutical, assembly, and robotics markets.
